- In depth understanding of front and back end development

- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, testing and QA
Required Education and Experience:
- A degree in computer science or software engineering or related field.
- Experience of day to day website management
- Experience of SEO development
Responsibilities:
- What are your responsibilities?
- Identify, implement and maintain all on-page technical SEO elements
- Work with Marketing Manager and wider company stakeholders to ensure business requirements are integrated into web development plans
- Ensure technical SEO best practices are followed, including CMS
- Support the integration of analytics tools and track and improve site performance
- Stay up to date with latest SEO / algorithm changes to ensure SEO strategies are continuously enhanced
- Monitor and report on domain registrations – current and associated to support competitive analysis
- Regularly update Wordpress core, themes and plugins to ensure the website is secure and up to date
- Monitor performance and security to identify and address potential issues promptly
- Conduct regular backups and support the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans
- Optimise all content and media files to improve / maintain performance, and ensure brand alignment
- Identify and resolve bugs, errors and broken links
- Utilise analytics software to ensure optimum performance of site, and provide input into monthly reports to track KPIs
- Respond quickly to support requests and troubleshoot issues as and when reported
- Diagnose and fix technical problems related to functionality, navigation or UX
- Work with Marketing Manager to provide effective solutions to site-related emergencies / critical incidents
- Communicate with stakeholders, keeping them informed of expected resolution timelines
- Track issue resolutions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to take and deliver briefs for any new project websites
- Work with creative team to ensure all brand / project graphic requirements are adhered to
- Support content management as required
- Support with troubleshooting and fixes as required
- Support, maintain and monitor domain registrations across all relevant project sites

Location: This position is open to candidates based in the United Kingdom and Ireland
Contract type: 6-months fixed-term contract (with potential to be made permanent)
