We are currently seeking a Call Handler to join our team based in Exeter. As a Call Handler, you will be responsible for answering and processing calls from the public and healthcare professionals, handling emergency calls and ensuring accurate and appropriate clinical information is passed on.
As a Call Handler, you will be the first point of contact for incoming calls, providing a professional and efficient service to callers. You will be responsible for answering and processing a variety of calls, including calls from the public and healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that accurate and appropriate clinical information is passed on to the relevant departments, as well as ensuring that all calls are handled in a professional and compassionate manner. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, to ensure that our service is available to callers when they need it most.
Experience with data entry and familiarity with medical terminology would be advantageous. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
