Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals dealing with substance and alcohol misuse? We're seeking a dedicated Needle Exchange Coordinator to join a leading charity supporting homeless clients in an East London borough, providing crucial support and access to essential services.

As a Needle Exchange Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a non-judgemental and non-coercive needle exchange service. You'll engage clients using a client-centered approach, empowering them to set goals for their substance use and overall wellness. Your responsibilities will include providing harm reduction advice and facilitating access to treatment and recovery services.

We're searching for someone with:

• Experience in delivering needle exchange services and a solid understanding of substance use support services.
• Proficiency in engaging individuals through low-threshold services, considering factors like rough sleeping and mental health.
• Alignment with industry best practices outlined by NNEF and UKHRA.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Leading the delivery of the Needle Exchange Service and managing inventory.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant partners.
• Collaborating with the team to develop and enhance the Needle Exchange service for outreach and in-reach efforts.
• Providing one-on-one support and referrals to treatment and recovery services.
