Job description
Our client, a leading company in the nuclear industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management of major contractors and their associated supply chain. These contractors will be at various stages of design, procurement, manufacturing, fabricating, installation, and commissioning of complex M&E scope.
Working under the Nuclear Project Director, you will be a proven and experienced self–motivated individual, capable of managing a high–quality scope of works within challenging timescales and with multiple interfaces and challenges. The role will require effective communication and collaboration with executive–level stakeholders such as MoD, regulators, and contractors, using your extensive experience within NEC3. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing teams and facilitating their development as required.
This role is primarily site–based, with essential travel required to manage various sub–contractors. There may be instances where co–location is necessary for a period of time. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience within the Nuclear sector and possess a security clearance of at least SC, with the ability to progress to DV.
As the Project Manager, you will be overseeing a portfolio of Projects with a combined value of approximately 70m.
