Here you'll be joining a highly regarded food business that develops innovative food applications for a range of product categories. They work with leading global food brands and manufacturers, providing them with market-leading ingredient solutions. This is a newly created role as they expand the team due to business growth. You'll be supporting on R&D projects across the team, gaining a good breadth of experience in the lab, development kitchen and pilot plant. You'll work on a variety of customer briefs, supporting on the development of new concepts and quality improvements to existing products. You'll support on pilot plant trials and factory trials at customer's manufacturing sites. You'll be joining a talented and supportive team of R&D professionals who will provide full on the job training and guidance to progress your career. You'll be based at their impressive R&D centre which has excellent facilities from recent significant investment. For this role, a Food Science or related degree would be beneficial but is not essential. You will need a keen interest in food ingredients and processing and a level of culinary knowledge. Some experience in a food manufacturing or laboratory environment would be great. What's key is you can demonstrate initiative; a good work ethic and you want to learn and develop your career. This is a site-based role, hands-on in the R&D centre working Monday - Friday office hours. There will be occasional visits to customers in the UK and EU, so you'll need a driving licence.
