Job description

We are expanding our workforce and currently seeking a skilled Window and Door Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our fitting team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precise installation of high-quality UPVC Windows & Doors, conservatories, bifold doors, lanterns, and porches at customer sites.

Responsibilities:
• Precision Installation: Execute precise fitting and installation of UPVC windows, doors, conservatories, bifold doors, lanterns, and porches to the exact specifications provided.
• Craftsmanship: Ensure all installations meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, paying meticulous attention to detail to achieve flawless outcomes.
• Compliance: Ensure that all installations comply with industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards, providing our customers with products that are both functional and secure.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the fitting team to coordinate efforts, share insights, and contribute to a seamless workflow. Collaborate with the production team to enhance understanding and communication between fabrication and installation processes.
• Adjustments and Repairs: Conduct adjustments and repairs as necessary during installations, addressing any issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients during installations, providing clear communication and answering any queries to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Quality Feedback: Provide valuable feedback to the production team based on field experience to enhance the fabrication processes, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
• Health and Safety: Prioritise and adhere to health and safety regulations during all aspects of the installation process, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in window and door fitting.
• Strong competence in using fitting tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team setting.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy window and door components.
• Relevant experience in window and door fitting roles.
• Health and safety awareness during installation processes.
