Job description

My client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented Inspection Readiness Manager on a Contract basis.

This role is set to work closely with stakeholders to prepare the client for regulatory inspections for social housing (Social Housing Regulator / CQC).

About the role:

Based in Central London (Hybrid):

What's required here is an expert in inspection readiness, not necessarily for Social Housing, but for Council-led services.

Lead on the implementation of key strategies, policies, procedures, and processes that demonstrate compliance with statutory obligations including inspection readiness by the Social Housing Regulator / CQC and compliance with the Complaint Handling Codes.

Maintain oversight of the inspection frameworks leading on planning to effectively project manage and provide support during any inspection.

Develop and maintain an action plan which sets out how the organisation will achieve compliance with all aspects of the consumer standards, as well as setting out activities that lead to a high performing service with a culture of continuous improvement.

About you:

You will have the following skillsets or experiences:

Extensive experience in delivering inspection readiness for a local authority for the CQC / Social Housing Regulator, or something VERY similar.

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at a high standard both verbally and in writing with a range of audiences including, residents, staff and elected Members.

Confident at navigating complex political environments

Knowledge of best practices in the Social Housing Sector (preferred).

What’s on offer:

Salary: £550+ per day, Inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience

Hours: 09:00ach -17:00 Monday to Friday
