About the role:

We are excited to be opening a new site with great opportunities for a new Engineering Manager to build the role and progress.

Working closely with the Site Manager, Production and Health and safety teams, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for on-target production by maintaining and improving plant efficiency. Driving the methods to ensure planned preventative maintenance “is a constant” using the shire and ppm system.

Engineering Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Foster relationships – build trust with stakeholders and maintain clear communication.
• Implement continuous improvement – manage processes used and improve efficiency and explore new concepts.
• Monitor and track performance – build the engineering team and give them room to grow and develop their skills.
• Liaise with teams – ensure products can be delivered in line with project governance.
• Always be audit ready – constant monitoring of regulatory compliance.

About you:

• Hands-on ability and proven experience as a food engineer.
• Thorough understanding of food processing equipment and quality control standards.
• A team leader – able to work with others and take ownership of the building and developing the team.
• Courageous and confident in calling out risks and working towards solutions.
