Salary: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time and Part-Time positions available)
The Client:
Our client, a newly opened children's home, is deeply devoted to creating an enriching and stable space for the growth of young individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.
The Role:
As a Waking Night Support Workers, you will play a pivotal role in offering comprehensive holistic care to children, contributing to their growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality holistic care and support
- Assist in shaping the lives of young individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Contribute to the team and adapt effectively to dynamic challenges
- Offer assessment for short- or long-term support for young people aged between 8 - 18 yrs
- Work night shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring support continuity
Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of experience working with children and young people
- Previous experience with children and young people is essential
- Hold Level 3 in Childcare & Youth Work / Health & Social Care
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
- Display moderate to high computer literacy
- Must have a full clean UK driving licence
Shift:
- Timings from 9:30 pm until 7:30 am
- 40 hours per week and 30 hours per week
