Berry Recruitment are looking for Youth Workers based in Tower Hamlets
Tower Hamlets is on the lookout for a Youth Worker who's ready to make a difference in the lives of young people across the borough of Tower Hamlets. Whether you're an experienced youth work professional or someone who's ready to develop professionally, we want to hear from you. This role will be based in the Exploitation Integrated Detached team which is part of the Exploitation Service.
As a youth worker the requirement of this role is to work 35 hours a week, between the hours of 2pm - 9pm from Monday to Saturday as part of the rota. The Exploitation Integrated Detach team is a multi-agency approach to harm outside the home and transitional safeguarding which aims to create greater safety and support for young people in the community. As a Youth Worker, you'll need to have a can-do attitude and a passion for engaging within the community and providing a creative 21st-century youth work offer for children and young people. We're looking for someone who young people want to be around - approachable, understanding, and able to inspire and motivate them to achieve their goals.
We're also looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
• Some experience in youth work or a willingness to develop professionally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
