Home-Based Role (ideally live in the Midlands)

Travel Required in and around the UK & Ireland

£40,000-45,000 + Benefits

Job Description 

Our Client is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to add to their Rail business Sales Team.

The ideal candidate for the Technical Sales Executive position will have an understanding of Railway Maintenance engineering & project management and be located between West Midlands, Cambridge, Yorkshire and Lancashire. Predominantly the successful candidate will be required to travel the UK and Ireland, however there may be the occasional overseas visit.

Responsibilities for the Technical Sales Executive

• Reporting to the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the performance and growth of Rail sales against budget to maximise profit performance and increase revenue
• You should have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to build relationships
• Heavily involved in both the development and launching of new products for the rail market

Experience/Qualifications for the Technical Sales Executive

• Previous B2B, face to face sales experience of technical products is a must
• Railway Infrastructure knowledge is desirable but not essential
• Clean & Full Driving Licence
