This is a Permanent , Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST .

The Vacancy

Full time, 37 hours a week. Working mainly Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, however evening and weekend working may be required to suit the needs of the service. 

£26,604 progressing to £29,560

Patrick House Housing Management provides supported accommodation to adults who are at risk of homelessness with complex and high-level support needs, we manage the building to ensure the clients and building is safe. We also provide support to clients so they can maintain their tenancies.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will support your team to achieve their potential through regular staff supervision and coaching
• You will be involved in the recruitment of staff for your team
• You will attend meetings to support funding
• Increase presence of service in the local area to help win tenders and maintain current contracts
• Prioritise crisis management referrals
• Facilitation and Monitoring of agreed client support
• You will support your team where needed with their workload
• Ensure an effective and timely response to all complaints and safeguarding issues taking appropriate action
• Provide reports and data where needed
• Be part of the on-call service

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

Previous experience in this type of work is not essential but you will have a real passion for wanting to work with homeless people. Your values will match ours, you will be committed to helping others and enjoy the real job satisfaction that this brings.

• Clear verbal and written English and great communication skills
• Basic IT and keyboard skills
• Passion for working in a client/customer facing role
• Have an interest and genuine concern for homelessness and related issues
• Experience of working in a residential or institutional or similar
• Knowledge of voluntary and statutory agencies
• Experience in housing management, maintenance and health and safety is desirable
• Experience in managing challenging behaviour is essential
• A full drivers’ licence and access to a vehicle is a requirement for this role
