We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join this dynamic kitchen team in a bustling gastro pub environment near Tisbury, Wiltshire. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with fresh produce and a desire to grow their career in the hospitality industry.
What we need from you?
– Take ownership of a specific section in the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauté, appetizers) and ensure that all items are prepared and presented according to established standards and timing requirements.
– Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
-Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure consistency and excellence in food presentation, taste, and texture across all dishes served.
– Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
– Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
– Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
