Restaurant Manager | Canterbury

Located an hour from Christchurch CBD this vineyard is a local fav offering a casual & comfortable environment to enjoy organic wine and great food

Our client: 

Is an organic vineyard located just shy of 60x minutes from Christchurch, with a focus on regenerative farming they offering memorable lunch services for their guests with their 2x hat restaurant that has also won winery restaurant of the year a number of times. 

The role: 

Requires a hospitality professional with strong leadership to join the team and lead their intimate team of 5x to ensure exceptional service and experience to their guests - they are an award winning venue that has a real purpose and focus on organic wine and regenerative farming and therefore our client requires a Manager to come on board that has a genuine passion, love and desire to continue to expand their wine knowledge. 

Perks of the role: 

-Day time hours - lunch service only -Petrol allowance on offer if commuting from Christchurch
-$60-70k per annum (open to candidates coming from Senior Leadership positions within hospitality) 
-Work with like minded individuals 
-Surround yourself with stunning views every day 

Skills & experience required: 

-Tenured experience in either Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager roles ideally in hatted, premium or vineyard environments - more intimate settings is preferred 
-Extensive wine knowledge is a must - this is critical to the role 
-Proven leadership abilities including experience recruiting, training, developing and succession planning of staff
