The renewables industry is rapidly expanding and so are we. We are on the lookout for an experienced Commercial Assistant to join Emtec Energy at our HQ in Uddingston.

This is a fast paced, and progressive role providing support to the Project Delivery Teams and reporting to the Commercial Manager. Our people are what makes us great, and they thrive in an environment where they are trusted to get the job done.

The Role

• Support the commercial team in all contract administration – including sub-contract ordering, the application for payment process, administration of variations.
• Order vetting / order confirmation.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and maintain all trackers.
• Generate monthly and quarterly CRM reports using Salesforce.
• Effectively manage project cashflow.
• Actively take part in site meetings conduct site visits when required.
• Additional commercial admin tasks when needed.

What we are looking for

We are seeking an individual with prior commercial admin / quantity surveying experience, within a construction contracting setting. The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills, a systematic approach, and a sharp attention to detail. Strong computer skills are essential for this role, especially being comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite, if you have experience using Salesforce then that is a bonus. Additionally, this role calls for someone who has the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels.

Given the nature of our business this role would suit someone who is a part qualified or recently graduated Quantity Surveyor.
