English Teacher – Margate

Academics, Canterbury are currently working with an exciting and growing school in Margate on the beautiful Kent Coast. This well regarded school are seeking an experienced and dedicated English teacher to work with their Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils. They do offer English at Key Stage 5 level, so this can be offered to suitable applicants.

The successful candidate will work with in the school’s incredibly supportive English department with state of the art resources. The school welcome applications from people with multiple years of experience teaching English Literature and English Language, although this is not essential and the right applicant with differing experience will be also be welcomed as the school have an excellent CPD programme that they offer to all staff.

The ideal candidate will

* Have a successful track record of teaching both English Language and Literature to GCSE and A-Level.
* High attainment results from previous school/s.
* Be passionate about all things Literature, Language and Teaching
* Be determined to grow as a professional with well-established career goals
* Be eager and excited to get involved in leading extra/co-curricular activities
* Able to adapt teaching styles to keep students engaged and paced.
