Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Worcester

Salary: £45-50k PA

Hours: Full Time

Our Client is a 1st Tier Automotive Company, They offer Quality Engineering Solutions to products such AS: Hood and Cockpit cables, brake pedal, gear shift assemblies etc: Manufacturing, Assembly, Plastic Moulding, CNC, Robot Welding, Metal Stampings." Due to Extensive Growth within their industry they are recruiting for a Production Manager.

Job Role

The Production Manager will lead the production operations of our manufacturing facility. They will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that production goals are met, quality standards are maintained, and operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to optimize production processes for maximum efficiency.

• Track and analyse OEE data on the automated system.

• Utilising / maintaining the Mould shop Kanban system
• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
• Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
• Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff.
• Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime.
• Commit to plant safety procedures.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Proven work experience as a Production Manager or similar role.

Advanced skills in MS Office.

Organizational and leadership abilities.

Communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Problem-solving skills.

Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.

Experience in reporting on key production metrics
