Job description
Role: Yard Operative / Carpenter
Location: North Tawton
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours week. 7:30am - 4:00pm
Acorn by Synergie is currently looking for a Yard Operative / Carpenter on behalf of their client to provide support to the production staff and ensure the smooth running of the manufacture and installation of bespoke timber buildings.
Job Duties:
* Help in the workshop making timber buildings
* Lift heavy panels
* Handle deliveries, check paperwork and stack goods away
* Load vehicles using picking lists
* Help on site to erect sectional buildings, including roofing
Person Specification:
* Background in or interest in carpentry. Full training will be given
* Ability to work hard in all weather
* High standards of work
* Happy to help out where required
