What's the opportunity

The Senior Purchasing Process Improvement Analyst will be responsible for analysing and mapping business processes within the purchasing function, and will play a crucial role in enhancing procurement efficiency and effectiveness within our organization. Your focus will be on streamlining purchasing and Supplier quality processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic changes to optimize procurement operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in process mapping, project management, facilitation, problem-solving and driving process improvement implementation within the purchasing function in the automotive/manufacturing industry.

What you will do:

• Analyze, document and map purchasing processes
• Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize purchasing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
• Participate in process improvement initiatives across the organization and collaborate with various teams to streamline functions,and drive overall efficiency.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and systems
• Training material creation and update
• Reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks and opportunities.
• Leading workshops, interviews, surveys and preparing use cases, user stories, process maps, etc.
• Staying current with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in business analysis and process improvement.
• Maintain a project plan with an appropriate level of work breakdown, and visibility of target delivery date.
• Communicate project progress regularly to stakeholders and project team members

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Significant experience in a similar senior analyst position, preferably within procurement or supply chain in the automotive industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in conducting workshops for business requirement gathering sessions and complete business process mapping, using tools such as Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, etc.
• Experience in using agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc., is a plus
• A positive, proactive and collaborative attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing business needs
• Lean SixSigma basic/advanced certification is desirable
