Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B72 | £90 - £95 per day | Full Time | Start date ASAP | Long Term - Permanent

LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistant to begin working full time in a warm and welcoming primary school located in the Birmingham Sutton Coldfield area (B72). The successful candidate will be able to work closely with children and staff to ensure that students are effectively supported.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Be confident to work on a 1-1 or small group basis with students, delivering interventions
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents and members of staff
• Ensure that students are engaging with learning to the best of their ability
• Effectively manage classroom behaviours, actively encouraging positive behaviours

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification/degree is desirable
• Experience of working with children or young people with special educational needs
• An Enhanced DBS and 2 references are a requirement for this role
