Job description

Job Description

About The Role

Leicester City are excited to be recruiting for an experienced and personable Receptionist to join our team based at the Club’s world class training ground. Responsible for delivering a consistently professional and first-class welcome to the Club’s staff, guests and visitors, the successful candidate will become the welcoming face of the venue, delivering a consistently high level of service. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Club, controlling the meeting room booking system and liaising with other Operations colleagues and departments to deliver an efficient and hospitable service.

The role will report to the Reception Manager, and work closely with colleagues across the Club’s Operational Teams to ensure seamless delivery of service on a day-to-day basis. The Club’s sites are a seven-day operation, including matchdays, so flexibility to work a rota pattern including evenings and weekends is essential.

Who We’re Looking For

The Club is looking for a highly skilled Receptionist who are confident in their ability to offer an exceptional welcome and service to all who arrive at the Club’s Training Ground. We’re looking for candidates who can multi-task and prioritise, combining the ability to deliver a smooth front of house service whilst also possessing high level administration skills, taking pride in their work and pleasure in helping people.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, understand the confidential and discreet nature of the role, and be able to demonstrate their experience of working in a similar team environment. We’re keen to hear from you if you have the experience and energy to help build new ways of working whilst providing an unbeatable experience for all those who visit LCFC sites.

Candidates should be aware that the LCFC training facility is also geographically remote; this means it is essential that applicants are able to drive their own vehicle to commute, as unfortunately there are limited public transport links to service the site locally.

About The Club

Knowing some of the history of Leicester City Football Club helps you appreciate the sense of community, spirit and family for which the Foxes are renowned for.

This remarkable achievement qualified them for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the Club’s history, and they subsequently reached the quarter-finals. The Club continues to build on that success and celebrated lifting the prestigious FA Cup in May 2021.

Under the stewardship of King Power and the Club’s CEO Susan Whelan, Leicester City Football Club is deeply committed to the local community and its supporters and continually strives to ensure that every point of engagement with fans is truly world class including the experience on matchdays.  Meanwhile, investment in the Club continues, with the 2021 opening of a new state-of-the-art Training Ground in north Leicestershire.
