Job description

Developer in test with key skills in Python, Cucumber, Gherkin and Selenium sought on a hybrid basis by a market leading FinTech based in Birmingham on a fixed term contract basis.

With large scale investment in technical innovation this Developer in Test will play a key role in developing BDD driven solutions that facilitate a move to a fully automated QA environment.

This role would suit an immediately available Developer in Test who can bring experience moving a business from manual to automated testing protocols and who is looking for the security of a longer term contract.

This Developer in Test near Birmingham should have most of the following key skills:

- Proven track record of developing solutions to improve test automation
- Solid python exposure
- BDD understanding
- Solid automation tooling understanding - Cucumber, Gherkin, Selenium etc
- Experience working In a DevOps environment would be plus (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
- Any experience working with FinTech would be a plus

This Developer in Test based near Birmingham will receive a salary of between £70,000 to 80,0000 with this fixed term contract initially running for 8 months with the possibility of extension.
