About Our Client
This exciting and progressive Automotive Compliance Specialist will be a key member of the Homologation & Regulatory Affairs team for this leading global commercial vehicles organisation who are a household brand name. With a supportive and and commercially focused leadership team they are looking for the right individual with some industry and ideally Homologation exposure to join the team.
Job Description
- Getting the necessary paperwork ready and sending it to government agencies for approval to sell new trucks.
- Making sure our trucks meet all the legal requirements by arranging inspections and checks, and keeping an eye on any new laws that might affect our business.
- Handling requests and documents related to vehicle compliance from customers, dealers, and builders, and helping them with the approval process.
- Advising dealers, builders, and customers on how to get their vehicles approved in the UK, and training dealer staff as needed.
- Representing our company in meetings with government and industry groups to make sure our interests are protected and sharing important information with those who need it.
- Managing the process when new laws are introduced that affect our vehicles.
- Keeping our team and dealers informed about any changes in vehicle specifications and the sales process due to homologation requirements.
- Providing analysis and information to support our Product Managers in meeting regulatory standards
The Successful Applicant
- Motor Industry experience and relevant Industry legislative related qualifications preferred.
- Commercial vehicle product knowledge - Homologation procedures
- IT literacy, C+E driving licence preferred
- Ability to work under own initiative
- To show willingness to contribute to the companies values and to be a committed and valued team member.
- To have the ability to be diplomatic and confident whilst in negotiation with government and motor industry bodies
