CM Medical has partnered with a cutting-edge organization that serves as a pioneer in the digital mental health and wellbeing sector. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Business Development Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for actively promoting the exceptional benefits and positive impact of our services within your designated region. This position holds a pivotal role in the company's growth strategy, particularly focusing on our platforms dedicated to children and adults.
Responsibilities
- Drive the promotion of our services for Children, Young People, and Adults, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to foster growth and expansion within the region, while consistently achieving or surpassing quarterly and annual targets.
- Establish and cultivate a diverse network of strategic stakeholders across the region, including NHS, local authorities, GPs, VCS, Service User groups, and other organizations. This involves actively engaging with them through meetings, events, and conferences.
- Collaborate closely with regional account management and operations teams to cultivate strong and sustainable relationships, ensuring high performance and enduring partnerships.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, including contacts, leads, opportunities, and activities. Utilize data analysis to inform discussions with commissioners and stakeholders, driving meaningful conversations.
- Leverage advanced ICT skills to create compelling content and develop high-quality business cases that secure new service contracts with commissioners, effectively showcasing the value and benefits of the company.
- Provide support during contract negotiation, onboarding, and service mobilization, ensuring a seamless handover to Account Managers for successful implementation.
- Actively contribute as a key member of the Business Development Team, participating in new campaigns to drive sales growth and representing the services at various forums and regional events through presentations and engagement.
- Stay abreast of and comprehend mental health strategy reports, CYP & Adult plans, and developments in the field of young people/adults and mental health. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the priorities driving our customers/commissioners. Provide feedback to the Head of Business Development, senior management team, and locality managers to ensure effective, relevant, and innovative delivery of services.
- Fulfill any relevant requests from the Senior Leadership Team that align with the responsibilities of the role.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of effectively identifying and nurturing new sales opportunities, successfully converting them into service contracts.
- Experience working collaboratively with commissioners and providers to successfully redesign services and develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, working as part of a team to develop and implement business growth strategies and campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of health and social inequalities and their impact on the mental health of children, young people, and adults.
- Familiarity with the evolving commissioning landscape and its effects on mental health and social care services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective liaison and networking with a diverse range of partner agencies, including statutory, independent, and charitable organizations.
- Approach work in a manner that embraces and engages positively with issues of diversity and difference.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering engaging presentations and sales pitches to various audiences, including commissioners, providers, stakeholders, and different age cohorts.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in working at an advanced level with Microsoft Office, G-suite, Salesforce, Slack, and other computerized systems.
