Job description
Our client is on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Animator to join our collaborative team. This full-time remote role comes with a generous salary, many excellent benefits and the chance to progress your career at a thriving remote company.
There will be a high level of versatility and hands-on work as you will also collaborate with a wide range of team members, from the Character Artists and production, to designers, programmers and narrative. You will be developing, managing and maintaining our character animation pipeline, working closely with Animators and Character Artists.
In your first few weeks in this Senior Animator role, you can expect to:
- Create incredible character animation for gameplay, narrative and cinematics
- Work with code and design to implement and test your animations in-game
- Skin and Rigge characters and assets in 3DS Max or Maya for integration into Unity
- Develop and manage our character animation pipeline, working closely with other Animators and Character Artists
- Review and deliver work in accordance with the project's artistic direction and deadlines
To apply for this Senior Animator role, you will need industry experience in a comparable role. You will also require the following:
- Demonstrated visual flare and artistic talent
- Expert knowledge of character animation in 3DS Max or Maya
- Knowledge of Unity, including The Animation System (Mecanim), Rigging, and Scripting
- Expertise in 3DSMax or Maya rigging and scripting tools, such as MaxScript and Python
