Position: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Architect
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a GCP Data Architect with a focus on client handling you will be responsible for not only designing and implementing robust data architectures on Google Cloud Platform but also actively engaging with clients to understand their needs providing solutions and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for clients understanding their datarelated requirements and providing consultative services to address their business challenges.
- Data Architecture Design: Collaborate with clients to design scalable and efficient data architectures on the GCP aligning solutions with their business objectives.
- GCP Implementation: Lead the implementation of data solutions on Google Cloud Platform leveraging GCP services to meet client needs while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle providing updates addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry best practices. Implement data governance and security measures in accordance with client requirements.
- Data Integration: Design and implement effective data integration processes ensuring seamless flow and accessibility of data across different systems and platforms to meet clientspecific use cases.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks troubleshoot datarelated issues and implement optimizations to enhance overall system performance based on client feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal crossfunctional teams and clients to understand and align with their requirements fostering a collaborative and clientcentric approach.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture processes and best practices ensuring clarity and transparency for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
- 1014 years of professional experience in data architecture and engineering with a focus on client handling.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Strong expertise in data modeling ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience in clientfacing roles demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python SQL or Java.
- Google Cloud certification(s) is a plus.
