Job description
VHIT S.p.A (Vacuum & Hydraulic products Italy) is an Italian company, part of the international group Weifu High-Technology Group Co., Ltd , a leading supplier of Original Equipment automotive components in the Asian Market.
With over 60 years of history, our Business Unit represents for the group the European hub in the supply of pumping systems for combustion and electric motors.
We are located in the Crema area and operate mainly in the field of Vacuum creation, Oil cooling and lubrication.
We supply the Western major automotive company and growing as a mechatronics business organization.
At our headquarters, R&D, Production, Sales and all related staff work in synergy, totaling about 500 employees.
We are looking for a motivated engineer to join our Purchasing Department as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
As part of the supplier quality team, you will manage the partnerships with automotive suppliers and will be responsible for the development of product components for series production and new projects.
You will be also in charge of preventive quality management, from planning to implementation.
You will also be the supplier’s technical point of contact for preventive quality assurance, according to Automotive standards (PPAP) and Lean Production Principles.
Education : The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar academic background;
Experiences: Al least 3-5 years of experience within complex manufacturing organizations, preferably in the automotive field;
Competencies needed:
Language skills : Fluent Italian and good level of English;
Personal characteristics : The suitable candidate is goal-oriented, team builder and problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
Research opened to both genres applications, according to Italian Law D.Lgs. 198/2006.
