Job Title: Performance Analyst Wind
About Employer: One of the MNCs in the Renewable/Energy sector
Location: Delhi
Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent energy yield assessment studies for wind plants using simulation software such as Windpro Windfarmer Windographer or CFDbased models.
- Extract and process measured raw wind data files from wind mast and Ispin including data filtration longterm data correlation with MERRA2 data and data recreation.
- Coordinate with thirdparty vendors and internal teams for PCVT (power curve verification tests) ensuring data availability and sensor healthiness.
- Conduct postcommissioning energy assessment studies to evaluate operational performance.
- Prepare generation budgets for operating assets considering various factors affecting energy production.
- Analyze turbine performance independently according to IEC guidelines.
- Calculate energy losses related to nonperforming turbines and conduct highlevel analyses including power curve studies pitch vs. RPM studies and pitch vs wind speed etc.
- Coordinate with site teams for Ispin installation and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure wind mast maintenance activities are carried out effectively.
Skills and Experiences required for this role:
- Experience Overall 812 years of experience. Adequate experience Wind Performance Analysis or Wind Resource Assessment is needed. Experience with analytics software and simulation software such as Windpro Windfarmer Windographer or CFDbased models
- Knowledge of Wind Mast
- Experience with Ispin
- Education Qualifications B. Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science/Information Technology)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
- Effective communication Capable of conveying technical information clearly to stakeholders.
- Attention to detail Ensuring accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.
- Time management Efficiently managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Collaboration Working effectively with crossfunctional teams and external vendors.
