Job description
Overview:
As a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager you will play a key role in leading and managing technical projects and teams. Your responsibilities will include overseeing engineering activities coordinating with crossfunctional teams and ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will be pivotal in driving innovation maintaining highquality standards and fostering a collaborative and agile work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion
- Oversee the technical aspects of projects ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project requirements and timelines
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Conduct technical analysis identify issues and propose effective solutions
- Develop and implement project plans including schedules budgets and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and practices
- Participate in design reviews and provide valuable input for product enhancement
- Assist in the recruitment training and performance evaluation of engineering staff
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic technical initiatives
- Represent the engineering team in meetings presentations and stakeholder engagements
- Monitor and report on project progress milestones and deliverables
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project timelines and objectives are met
- Conduct thorough quality assurance and ensure the delivery of highquality products and services
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Proven experience in a senior engineering role with project management responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles practices and methodologies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
