Job description

For an international electromechanical company in the automotive industry, we are looking for a:

PROJECT BUYER

Main responsibilities:

· Manage the RFQ cycle ensuring adherence to budget, schedule and project requirements;

· Provide procurement input during the product development phase;

· Ensure suppliers respond appropriately to program management requirements, including delivery, cost, or quality issues up to the PPAP stage;

· Track BOM costs and procurement timelines along with the overall schedule of various projects;

· Define and control the flow and content of communication between the project team and suppliers;

· Collaborate with the regional raw materials and procurement management team to ensure that procurement actions are aligned with project objectives;

· Influence the technical team to design the cost process to achieve the target cost sheet;

· Communicate and track the status of procurement price changes.

Requirements:

· Preferable experience in the automotive industry.

· at least 2/3 years' experience in the procurement field

· Experience in project management is an advantage

· Strong negotiation and organizational skills

· Ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization

· Knowledge of cost structure and value chain of assigned products

· Excellent spoken and written English

· Strategic thinker and implementer of effective tactical plans.
