Job description
VRV, part of Chart Industries Inc., is an important industrial reality present for more than 60 years in the international arena both in the design and production of pressure equipment for the Oil & Gas sectors, and in the engineering and manufacture of insulation tanks for the distribution and storage of gas in the Cryogenic sector, as well as a company operating in the Automotive HNLG business.
We are looking for a Jr HSE Engineer to join our HSE team, operating crosswise in three different production plants belonging to the Group.
- Supporting the ASPP and RSPP in managing document activity related to compliance with current industrial hygiene, health and safety regulations;
- Maintenance and development of software dedicated to managing HSE compliance and deadlines;
- Management of legal documents related to contractors;
- Supporting activities to identify, choose and manage PPE, aimed at raising awareness among internal staff;
- Organization, development and verification of the effectiveness of HSE training activities;
- Development of internal HSE audit activities, also involving Corporate colleagues, within production and corporate departments;
- Involvement in information and engagement activities for the spreading and development of culture and participation on HSE issues;
- Participation in activities aimed at achieving HSE goals defined within the Corporate policy;
- Supporting HSE Manager in the management of environmental protection aspects;
- Implementation and development of actions at both local and Corporate levels, aimed at improving ESG performance.
- Degree or high school education in technical field;
- Previous experience in HSE roles is considered a plus;
- Basic knowledge of applicable safety regulations (Legislative Decree 81/08 as amended);
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is considered a plus;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite;
- Knowledge of ESIWEB software is considered a plus;
- Good knowledge of English language at written and spoken level;
- Good team-working skills;
- Good organizational and communication skills;
- Good listening skills;
- Good problem-solving skills.
