RINA is currently recruiting for a Opto-Mechanical System Engineerto join its office in Lecco within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

Rina is currently recruiting a Opto-Mechanical System Engineer to join our Space&Defence Team in Lecco

Job Responsibilities

Responsabilities:

• Owns design, specifications, performance, qualification of full optical system.
• Authoritative point of contact for the optical system with internal functions (design, production, integration, test), customers, suppliers, consultant partners to discuss and negotiate requirements, specifications, performance, design solutions, manufacturing and integration processes, qualification tests.
• Support Project Managers and Product Assurance Managers for all technical matters, during discussions with suppliers and customers.
• Develop and maintain Product Trees according to configuration standards and customer requirements.
• Write System Engineering Plans, Design Validation and Verification plans, AIV/AIT plans, Test Specifications, Test Plans and Test procedures according to project requirements.
• Coordinate and participate to test and qualification campaigns.
• Support customer in satellite AIT process, including on-site visits.
• Write Statements of Work and Technical Requirements Specifications for outsourced parts, equipment and complex products (e.g. optics, assemblies, electronics).
• Guide the technical team, including suppliers and sub-contractors during the design, manufacturing, integration and test activities.
• Organize, manage, document design reviews.
• Supervise the preparation and revise technical documentation, drawings, 3D models, optical analysis and Finite Element analyses.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO).

Competencies

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Master’s Degree in Engineering General or Aerospace Engineering
