Hybrid position. Telework available after first two weeks at agencys discretion. Minimum two days onsite/week is required.
Candidates must live in Pennsylvania to be considered.
Position Description:
- The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is seeking an Application Developer 3 to assist other developers with maintenance and support for the Intranet Apps.
- The Intranet Apps application was built with ASP.Net VB.Net C#.Net and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be selfmotivated and be able to function in both as an Individual and as part of a team.
- The candidate will support Business Areas such as Fisheries Boating LicensingRegistration and Marketing. The successful applicant must be capable of meeting or exceeding challenging deadlines while performing daily duties that will include:
- Analysis design coding and testing of application code.
- Application troubleshooting and bug fixes.
- Creation of new screens with ASP.NET C#.NET and VB.NET.
- Record verify log and document testing results.
- Maintain versioning and source control with TFS.
- Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
- Build Modify and Run batch deployment scripts.
