Job description

Powersoft S.p.A. is a multinational group with headquarters in Italy, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, with over 130 employees. Powersoft is a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of products and patented solutions for applications in the field of professional audio such as large international events, concerts, theaters, cinemas, stadiums, airports, stations, and ships.

For increasing our R&D team in Florence, we are looking for a Tester for our Functional Test team with basic knowledge in electronics and software development.

Role:

• Functional testing and validation of the products (software and hardware).
• Automate test procedure by developing test scripts
• Report issues with attention to details
• Interact and collaborate with other R&D teams (SW, HW, TEST) to improve the quality and the manufacturability of the product
  

Requirements:

• Passion for electronics, audio and high-tech products
• Knowledge of electronics and basic programming skills (Python, C)
• Ability to meet deadline and adapt to changing priorities and strong problem-solving skills
• Educational background in scientific field
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Passion for music/audio
• Knowledge of acoustic and electro acoustic stuff
• Audio over IP knowledge, Audinate Dante certifications are a plus
