Collegio alla Querce, Auberge Resorts Collection a former cultural institution and much-beloved boarding school is undergoing an extensive transformation to awaken the property’s storied and romantic history, dating back to the 16th century. Auberge’s third European destination, Collegio is a delight for design lovers and gourmands alike. Three adjacent original buildings feature 83 rooms, an original chapel and theater, a library, two restaurants and a bar which was once the school’s principal’s office. The Director of Operations of Collegio alla Querce will be charged with the oversight of operations for the property to become a one-of-a-kind iconic resort that attracts an affluent clientele interested in culinary, wellness, adventure between buzzy Florence and the beauty and charm of the Tuscan countryside. They will develop a local culture that attracts top tier talent and connects to the community. They will lead the recruitment efforts so we will allow us to be the employer of choice in Florence, Auberge’s third property in Europe and build a loyal base of advocates creating one of the most coveted and special destinations in Italy.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Division Head or Hotel Manager who is fluent in Italian, has previous global brand experience in Italy and internationally and is a self-starter.

Experience: 5+ years of work experience as a Division Head or Hotel Manager in luxury hospitality. The ideal candidate has opened a hotel in a senior leadership role and built teams to successfully launch in an urban / resort market for a global brand.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, ideally in Hotel Management, Business, Finance or a combination of these. Fluency in Italian and English required.
