Job Description
- Execute Request For Quotations and price estimations in customer or market projects and in serial production for MNIT (products, services and samples)
- Negotiate & agree purchase price and supplier contracts incl. sourcing decision preparation
- Maintain commercial material / supplier relevant data in ERP and purchasing related systems
- Manage material cost optimizations (e.g. negotiations, ratio projects) as well as project purchasing activities and supplier risk management of MNIT
- Optimize material costs by initiating Value stream optimization /VE, material change and/or supplier cost down activities (“ratio projects”). Supporting supplier cost and quality development activities
- Ensuring application of PU-methods, tools, procedures and reporting.
- Archive documents in Easy Contract and/or Sap
Your Profile
- University degree or other relevant education in Business Administration, Business Engineering or related fields
- +3 years of experience as a Purchasing and / or Commodity Buyer, in a manufacturing company, buying production materials
- Highly organized and motivated team player with strong drive to succeed
- Familiar with supply chain concepts
- Experience in machine/investment sourcing nice to have
- Good communication skills, conflict management ability, strong cost awareness, assertiveness, analytical approach
- Fluent English and Italian mandatory
- IT and ERP-knowledge (e.g. MS-Office, SAP or similar)
