Role Summary

DMS Digital Senior Engineer.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Account Review: Reviewing account provisioning for new joiners and transfers to ensure all access and restrictions are in line with specific project requirements to ensure all DMS Digital users have the correct setup.
- Computer Setup: Configuration of computers to project and user requirements.
- Packing/Unpacking: Securely packaging all equipment and working with the Courier team to ensure all IT assets are received in a working condition and sent on time.
- Asset ReBuilds: Reimaging of all returned and in stock computers to ensure they are clean of all previous user project and client data. Firmwide pool image is applied by PXE boot process.
- Asset Auditing/Stock Management: Assist in auditing all in stock assets along with packaging material etc to maintain a suitable quantity of kit to enable future demand to be met
- Documentation: Creation of a variety of documents using DMS Digital templates as part of all auditing build and configuration activities.
- Access and Account Provisioning: Working as part of a project team where required responsible for the development of new accesses restrictions or software technology solutions within DMS Digital s technical standards.
- Testing: Responsible for the formal testing of changes to existing solutions supported by DMS Digital or the testing of new build solutions created by DMS Digital. Testing includes adhering to a detailed test plan execution of tests and reporting on the results.
- Principles and Standards: Contributing to the ongoing development and review of technical principles and standards applicable to technical assessment review design build and support activities in DMS Digital.
- Best Practice: Contributing to the ongoing development and review of best practice guidance and instruction across all engineering activities undertaken within DMS Digital. This activity to be undertaken in collaboration with colleagues across Deloitte and in line with general industry recommendations.
- Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Providing as required technical insight and expertise in areas of knowledge to DMS Digital colleagues and DMS Digital projects. This may include work on a variety of internal or external initiatives.
- Internal Relationships: Accountable and Responsible for developing and improving relationships with engineering and related functions across Deloitte in support of shared standards and DMS Digital activities.
- Risk Management: Supporting the development maintenance improvement and management of risk controls pertaining to the activities of solution architecture within DMS Digital.
