Title: Agile Transformation Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 46 months (with potential for extension)
Description:
Our client is seeking an Agile Transformation Consultant to join their team and contribute to their IT agile transformation efforts. The consultant will play a key role in facilitating the adoption of agile methodologies particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize extensive knowledge of the SAFe framework with a focus on PI (Program Increment) planning to guide and support the organizations agile transformation journey.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive Agile training sessions tailored to the organizations needs covering topics such as PI planning agile methodologies and best practices.
- Facilitate office hours and provide ongoing support and coaching to teams as they prepare for their initial PI planning event ensuring a smooth transition to the agile framework.
- Demonstrate strong documentation and facilitation skills to effectively capture and communicate key information related to agile processes methodologies and outcomes.
- Conduct training sessions on Agile Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics empowering teams to measure and evaluate their performance within the agile framework.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including leadership and crossfunctional teams to drive alignment and commitment to agile principles and practices.
- Continuously assess and refine agile processes and practices based on feedback and lessons learned promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adaptation.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in agile methodologies incorporating new insights and approaches to enhance the organizations agile transformation efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certified SAFe Agilist (SA) SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience implementing the SAFe framework and facilitating PI planning events in largescale organizations
- Strong facilitation coaching and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and empower teams at all levels of the organization
- Excellent documentation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts and information in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment adapting to changing priorities and requirements
- Familiarity with Agile KPIs and metrics with the ability to interpret and analyze data to drive performance improvement
- Prior experience in agile coaching consulting or related roles is a plus
