We are seeking a skilled PowerBuilder Developer to join our remote team. As a PowerBuilder Developer you will be responsible for developing enhancing and maintaining applications using PowerBuilder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop enhance and maintain applications using PowerBuilder ensuring adherence to coding standards best practices and project requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions using PowerBuilder.
- Integrate PowerBuilder applications with backend databases to support data storage retrieval and manipulation.
- Design userfriendly and intuitive user interfaces using PowerBuilders visual development environment to ensure a positive user experience.
- Customize and modify existing PowerBuilder applications to meet changing business needs including adding new features and enhancements.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in PowerBuilder applications identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to ensure application stability and performance.
- Optimize the performance of PowerBuilder applications by identifying bottlenecks and improving code and database queries.
- Manage source code using version control systems and coordinate application deployment processes between development testing and production environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge transfer and future maintenance of PowerBuilder applications.
- Develop and execute unit tests to validate the functionality and reliability of PowerBuilder code.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality PowerBuilder solutions on time and within budget.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in PowerBuilder development seeking opportunities for professional growth.
