With over 60 years of history, our Business Unit represents for the group the European hub in the supply of pumping systems for combustion and electric motors.

We are located in the Crema area and operate mainly in the field of Vacuum creation, Oil cooling and lubrication. 

We supply the Western major automotive company and growing as a mechatronics business organization.

At our headquarters, R&D, Production, Sales and all related staff work in synergy, totaling about 500 employees.

Descrizione del lavoro

VHIT’s Purchasing Department is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager.
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Director, the ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the Supplier Quality Team in the proper management of the following activities:

• Develop partnerships with current automotive suppliers;
• Develop local suppliers according to the automotive standards and lean production principles;
• Ensure the suppliers quality standard;
• Improve preventive supplier quality assurance;
• Lead supplier audit;
• Take care of the development of product components for series production and new projects;
• Guarantee and develop internal quality standards;
• Manage internal and external claims and identify corrective actions with suppliers;
• Define containment actions in-house;
• Provide monthly supplier quality reporting.

Qualifiche

Education : The ideal candidate possesses a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent academic background.
Experience : Has previous 3-5 years of experience in leadership positions within the Quality Department of complex manufacturing organizations. Exposure to an international environment, preferably in the automotive market or in die-casting or sintered parts sectors will be a plus.
Personality : The suitable candidate is a goal-oriented- leader with strategic vision.
Language skills : Fluent in both Italian and English.
