For our American client based in Verona, operating in the medical sector and specializing in Software Development, we are currently searching for a: DevOps Engineer Key Accountabilities Lead the teams to excel in cloud-based software development, emphasizing strategies that fundamentally enhance customer experience, including abstraction, appropriately scaled capacity and scalability, A/B testing and deployment, streamlined environments, and swift recovery Own the build & deploy lifecycle; reduce build, deploy & rollback times while simultaneously reducing risk and exposure. Own the execution, tracking, and delivery of Client’s SLA and SLOs, as well as identifying additional KPIs for delivering a first-class platform. Help lead the transformation from legacy infrastructure to a modern scalable service-based system. Drive efficiency of scale while preparing systems to support 10+ times current capacity. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems Preserve assets, information security and control structure Skills Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps, software development, or infrastructure engineering role Advanced knowledge of AWS and AWSCLI including: EC2, VPC, EBS, ELB/ALB, SNS, SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, Kinesis, Elasticache, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, Container Service (EKS), Redshift Strong knowledge and understanding of CI/CD pipeline automation and tools 5+ years’ production-level experience: Docker, Kubernetes, and related orchestration technologies; Deploying .NET applications and websites; CloudFormation or Terraform; Octopus Deploy or similar; Scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell Experience with Atlassian tool stack Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk Benefit Permanent employment by the company Benefits package including health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability coverage Onboarding, ongoing training, mentoring and career pathing Hybrid working mode Workplace: Verona (Hybrid) Candidates residing in Verona are expected to be in the office one day per week, while those residing outside Verona are required to be present in the office once a month.
