Design Implementation Applications Engineer In this role you will be a key member of our fast-paced European EDA Applications Engineering Team. Providing technical support and innovative solutions to our Semiconductor and ASIC industry customers across the Southern Europe region.
The right candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn, with strong people and communication skills and a passion for customer support and problem solving. The candidate will partner with customers and Sales to identify business opportunities, develop effective technical solutions, and increase utilization and retention of products on current accounts.
As well as the customer support role you will have the ability to work with Synopsys’ R&D teams to enhance and develop solutions to the most challenging customer problems.
You will be working at Synopsys offices and regularly at Customer premises. Domestic and international travel are expected.
Skill Requirements: - Typically requires 1-3 years of experience in Digital designs/methodologies
- Familiar with Verilog/VHDL or SystemVerilog
- Familiar with Digital implementation flow (Synthesis or P&R)
- Good communication skills
- Good speaking and writing level in English
- Good speaking level in Italian
Education Requirements: - Graduated in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering program, or similar
Preferred Experience - Knowledge of Synopsys EDA tools like Design Compiler, PrimeTime, IC Compiler II or Fusion Compiler would be an advantage. However additional training will be provided where needed.
