Job Description:

The individual in this role will support the DDC Vulnerability Management team by onboarding applications (codebases and pipelines) to GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) within GitHub Enterprise Cloud. You will work closely with our DevOps CloudOps application development and vulnerability management teams to carry out seamless integration with GHAS functions including CodeQL Dependabot and secret scanning. Application languages include but are not limited to Java JavaScript Spring Boot Node.js and WebLogic. This role requires handson skills with migration from ADO and Jenkins pipelines to GitHub Actions and GitHub Advanced Security strong Java skills and extensive application development and security experience.

Skills/Experience:

Skills/Experience

• Expertise in GitHub Advanced Security tools including CodeQL Dependabot and secret scanning
• Proven experience in migrating applications and pipelines to GitHub Enterprise Cloud using GitHub Actions
• Experience in implementing and maintaining security controls within GitHub repositories
• Experience in pipeline development and management for applications using Java JavaScript Spring Boot Node.js and WebLogic
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams
• Detailoriented with a strong focus on documentation and reporting

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in DevOps cybersecurity or related fields
• 5 years of handson Application Security
• 5 years of handson experience with GitHub GitHub Enterprise Cloud
• Certification in GitHub Advanced Security and/or GitHub Actions is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
