Job Summary
Expand your communications studies at Tetra Pak in this dynamic, broad-reaching internship. To deliver on our strategic goals, we are seeking a Factory Communication Trainee to help further Tetra Pak’s communications for the Factory based in Rubiera (RE). This a six-months curricular internship position based in Tetra Pak Carta Spa in Rubiera (RE), Italy.
In this position, you will work across functions with colleagues from factory operations, communications, and other areas to help implement Tetra Pak’s communication strategy. You will report to the WCM manager of the factory at our Packaging Solutions organization. In this role, you will work across a variety of communications disciplines and subject areas and communicate regularly with a wide range of audiences, both internally and externally.
What you will do
- Engage with Italian and international colleagues to benchmark Communications best practices and implement them in Rubiera site.
- Approach factory employees to learn more about a production environment.
- Get the basis of World Class Manufacturing methodology.
- Understand factory needs to propose and implement the best internal communication strategy to keep people involved and keep high morale.
- Help improving the communications in the site of Rubiera for employees and customers.
- Manage a variety of internal communication channels.
- Continually track, measure, evaluate and report achievement of internal and external communications goals.
- Create, edit, and refine a wide range of communications including internal communications, visuals for the factory, presentations.
We believe you have
- You are a master’s student in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (active student status is a must).
- You are available for a 6-month, full time, temporary curricular internship (you can develop your master's thesis during the internship)
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Proven track record of successful communications projects and activities.
- Familiarity with digital communications tools, methods, and trends.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience managing websites and familiarity with HTML preferred.
- A highly driven and motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
- Quick to establish good working relationships with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Able to navigate and influence a multi-cultural and global organization and have the mindset to constantly challenge and disrupt the status quo.
- Able to synthesize large amounts of information and craft succinct, relevant, and impactful messages.
