Overview

Conducts analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of Enterprisewide systems (e.g., finance, human resources, payroll, supply chain, client relationship management) across functional areas. Plans and directs studies of potential electronic data processing applications and prepares design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs of the corporation. Develops test plans and protocols for evaluation of system performance. Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes.

Responsibilities

DBA Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to support and maintain enterprise database systems and services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, database maintenance, design; standards-based implementation, security, systems integration, capacity planning, process / procedure development and refinement, and technical support.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications;
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Database technology, particularly, Oracle
• Management of routine SQL database operations and maintenance;
• Optimization of database performance and efficiency;
• Perform database maintenance activities to include query performance tuning, backups, restores and upgrades;
• Performing troubleshooting activities to fix and enhance application issues in Production and Non-Production environment;
• Executing the Deployment Plans and creating the Change Records with testing and analysis results.
