Department: Service Engineering

Engagement Description:

This resource will assist the client engineering team with daytoday administration and optimization of our Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

This person will also manage Horizon Virtual Desktop projects including upgrades and migrations.

Responsible for ensuring currency and optimal performance of the platform.

VMWare Horizon View Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

VMWare Workspace One

ESXi / VCenter Management

Required Skills/Experience :

VRealize Operations Monitoring and Automation

Client OS Troubleshooting

PowerShell Scripting

Documenting in infrastructure in Visio

Strong troubleshooting customer service and communication skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:

Windows 10 / 11 OS Optimization / Group Policy Management

Experience with other VDI platforms including AVD and Citrix

Project management skills / experience

Education/Certifications Include:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Preferred / Not Required

VMWare certifications (VCP) Preferred / Not Required

Microsoft certifications Preferred / Not Required
