About the Opportunity:
As a Network Management Specialist you will be responsible for the effective management maintenance and optimization of our network infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring network reliability security and performance enabling our organization to meet its operational goals and objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
- Network Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor the organizations network infrastructure to ensure it operates efficiently and reliably.
- Perform routine network maintenance tasks including updates patches and hardware replacements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Network Security:
- Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls intrusion detection systems and access controls.
- Stay updated with security threats and vulnerabilities and take proactive steps to safeguard the network.
- Performance Optimization:
- Analyze network performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with network engineers to enhance network performance including addressing bandwidth constraints and latency issues.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records network diagrams and documentation of network configurations and changes.
- Generate regular reports on network health performance and security.
- Vendor and Technology Management:
- Manage relationships with network hardware and software vendors.
- Evaluate and recommend network technologies tools and solutions to enhance network efficiency and capabilities.
- Incident Response:
- Develop and execute incident response plans to address network breaches or security incidents.
- Coordinate with IT teams and external partners to resolve security incidents.
- Capacity Planning:
- Forecast future network capacity needs and plan for network expansion or upgrades.
- Ensure the network infrastructure aligns with the organizations growth and strategic objectives.
Education/Experience:
- At least 5 years of proven Network Manager experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of network protocols routing and switching technologies.
- Proficiency in network security best practices and tools.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
