We’re looking for a Sr Buyer Chemical Finish in Rivoli , Arco or Reggio Emilia Location.
This position is responsible to lead all sourcing activities in assigned commodities to ensure purchasing leverages in order to maximize regional and global synergies while executing professional sourcing of products.
Sr Buyer Chemical Finish will be responsible:
- Develop and execute Purchasing strategies under the assigned commodities in line with the Regional commodity Strategy establishing and keeping relationships with existing and new suppliers at an international level
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce overall costs and improve effectiveness
- Perform strategic Purchasing activities, searching for better deals and find more profitable suppliers
- Negotiate and improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
Education: University bachelor degree
Professional background
Buyer or senior buyer with min 5 year of experience, with preferred knowledge in Chemical Finish commodity, who has worked in a multinational environment, automotive, white goods or industrial.
