Job description

Our client, a manufacturing company belonging to an international group in the consumer industry, is looking for:

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER

Responsabilites:

· implement the countinous improvement program in the Italian Plants, embracing Lean six sigma concepts, ensuring adherence to safety, quality and cost requirements;

· promote the Lean mindset, its values, culture and its key success factors, ensuring the right choice of methodology (Six Sigma/Kaizen/8D/VSM,TPM, etc.);

· ensure the effective progress of continous improvement projects by developing skills within the site functions;

· define and agree Lean goals with the local CEO and the Global Continous Improvement Manager and monitor them;

· participate in workshops and meetings on Lean Management across the Group;

· interact with different local departments such as production, engineering, R&D, quality, planning, but also within the company at global level, sharing knowledge, expertise and best practices with the Continous Improvement Organization.

· Engineering Degree or technical qualification;

· at least 5 years of professional experience in lean management methods (such as 5S, TPM, VSA/VSD, SMED) or process optimization and familiarity with basic processes in production, logistics and quality;

· solid knowledge of English AND confident handling of MS-Office applications;

· strong communication skills from shopfloor to board floor

· proactivity, goals orientation and ability to identify waste and opportunities for improvement.

Location: Province of Venice, on site.
