Job description

Your mission

With your work you are the interface between European customers and our R&D in China in order to improve turnover, profitability and market share from the responsible territories, customers or market segments together with the relative team members.

• You communicate with the customers about their requirement profile, present our products and select the suitable device produced by Hongfa Group
• You clarify the technical feasibility on the basis of specifications, drawings and standards.
• You will conduct product training courses and create and review technical documentation
• You will contribute creatively to the continuous improvement of our products and introduce design changes to our R&D in China
• You are a competent contact person for our customers both on the phone and on site
• You will accompany the projects from the first customer contact to the start of series production and beyond
• Application Engineer to provide support in regular review meetings.
• You will support the sales department in meetings with customers and distributors.
• Support in trade shows and exhibitions.
• Travel to customers ,distributors and factory when required for meetings.

Your profile

• Ideally, you have completed a Master's degree in electrical engineering, switchgear technology or mechatronics.
• Experience in design or application with electromechanical components (relays, contactors, miniature circuit breakers)
• Very good knowledge of electrical engineering / electronics, in particular of basic circuits in electrical engineering and magnetism
• Reading and understanding electrical circuit diagrams
• Very good knowledge of mechanical assemblies
• Reading and understanding drawings
• Basic knowledge of materials and production engineering
• Understands standards and certification requirements in Europe.
• Experience with interacting with external and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to hold technical presentations internally and externally
• Good MS-Office & SAP knowledge
• Business fluent English and Italian for a confident appearance, chinese Language is nice to have
• You work very independently and customer-oriented
• Ability to work in a team and empathy in an intercultural environment should be one of your strengths.

About us

Hongfa Europe GmbH was founded in 2003 as the European distribution center of the Chinese group Xiamen Hongfa Electroacoustic Co. From our headquarter in Maintal (near Frankfurt am Main), we supply electromechanical relays to our European customers, who are mainly active in the household appliance, engineering, smart metering and automotive sectors. 

We are Hongfa's sales and service center for the European market, whose functions include market development, customer service, technical support and logistics. We have a large number of sales and application engineers who are well versed in relays and the market. We also have a large local sales network covering over twenty countries and regions in Europe.

We plan to expand the premises of our European sales and service center to over 5000 ㎡ to further expand our R&D and testing capabilities in the European market. This will gradually realize our long-term development goal in the European market in the fields of automotive, electricity, electronics, measuring instruments and industrial control.
